RCPF Presents to Rotary Club

RCPF Presents to Rotary Club

September 30, 2016 by

On October 30, 2016 our Chapter's President, Daniel Jambor, was invited to speak to the Rotary Club of North St. Paul - Maplewood - Oakdale at their weekly meeting.  It was a great opportunity to share the mission of Pheasants Forever with our local business community - many of whom are involved with shooting sports!

The presentation covered the mission of Pheasants Forever to protect land, and especially native prairie grasses, for the benefit of all wildlife and for the enjoyment of the citizens of Minnesota.  Mr. Jambor described the pollinator project that took place behind Otter Lake Elementary, the rise of shooting sports in our State's high schools, and the Ramsey County Chapter's focus on involving youth in the outdoors - including our upcoming mentored pheasant hunt.

The Rotary Club of NSPMO was very receptive to the goals of our Chapter.  In fact, one of the Rotary Club's primary fund raisers is an annual sporting clays shoot at Wild Wings of Oneka!  It was a great privilege to share our conservation message with an organization that promotes Service Above Self!
